Life Before TJ:
I grew up in Columbus, Ohio and then went to the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky. I moved to Denver around four years ago, and began working on my masters degree through the University of Colorado Denver. I was teaching in Arvada, Colorado before joining the TJ team. This year will be my fourth year at TJ and my fourth year as a member of the Denver Classroom Teachers Association. In my spare time I enjoy working with my DCTA union, riding my bike, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
